Amanda Simms, soprano boasts a wide repertoire performing contemporary to baroque with “ease and sophistication.” With a “beautiful presence” she made her debut on the opera stage as Lucia from The Rape of Lucretia. In May 2019 she finished her master of music from Montclair State University under the tutelage of Jeanne-Michele Charbonnet, and plans to further her education. First countertenor at the Metropolitan Opera, Jeffrey Gall, regards Amanda as “an extraordinary performer with much promise.”
